How we handle your personal information
We collect only what we need to book, deliver and follow up on your service, and we handle it in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Who we are
This website (autorefine.ca) is operated by Auto Refinement Hub, an automotive detailing, enhancement and accessories business based in Ontario, Canada. What we collect
- Contact and booking details you give us by phone, email or the booking form: name, phone number, email address, vehicle details (year, make, model, plate where needed for the job) and what you have asked us to do.
- Service records: the work carried out, products used, dates, invoices and any membership you hold, so we can honour warranties, care instructions and plan renewals.
- Vehicle photographs taken before and after work, used for quality control and, only with your permission, for marketing.
- Payment information is processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- Website data: this site does not use advertising trackers. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
Why we collect it
- To respond to enquiries, quote, book and carry out the service you have requested.
- To manage memberships, renewals, reminders and loyalty or referral rewards.
- To keep records required for warranties, accounting and Canadian tax law.
- To improve our services and, where you have agreed, to send you offers. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
Consent
By contacting us or booking a service you consent to the collection and use of your information for those purposes. We ask separately before using photographs of your vehicle in marketing and before sending promotional messages. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate - our booking and customer-record system, payment processor, email and website hosting - and only to the extent needed. These providers may process data outside Canada, where it is subject to local laws. We will disclose information where the law requires it.
Safeguards and retention
Records are kept in access-controlled systems and on paper only where necessary, and are limited to staff who need them for their work. We keep service and financial records for the period required by Canadian law (generally six years for tax purposes) and delete or anonymise other information when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep by law). Write to info@autorefinementhub.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new "last updated" date.
