Questions drivers ask before they book
Plain answers on what is included, how long it takes, what is legal in Ontario and how the memberships work.
What does a full detail include?
A full detail covers the interior and the exterior: seats, carpets, headliner, vents and trim are deep-cleaned and conditioned; the bodywork is washed, decontaminated (iron, tar, clay), machine-polished for gloss and finished with a sealant or, if you choose, a ceramic coating. Odour treatment, engine-bay cleaning and headlight restoration can be added. We confirm exactly what is included in writing before we start.
How long will you have the car?
Standard detailing and enhancement work is scheduled to a 24 to 48 hour turnaround. Multi-stage paint correction, full ceramic coating, wraps and paint protection film take longer because of curing and prep time; we quote a return date when we book the job. Premium and fleet members get priority scheduling.
What is the difference between ceramic coating and paint protection film?
A ceramic coating is a liquid that cures into a hard, glossy, water-repellent layer - it makes the car easier to wash and resists chemicals and UV, but it does not stop stone chips. Paint protection film (PPF) is a clear urethane film applied to impact areas such as the front bumper, hood edge and mirrors, and it does absorb chips and light scratches. Many customers combine the two: PPF where the road hits the car, coating everywhere.
Is window tint legal in Ontario?
Ontario's Highway Traffic Act restricts tint on the windshield and the front side windows, and the rules differ by the vehicle's model year. We only apply film where it is permitted for your vehicle and we will tell you what is and is not allowed before any work is done - we would rather lose the sale than fit something that gets you a ticket.
Do you do mechanical repairs, or sell vehicles?
No. Auto Refinement Hub provides cosmetic and non-regulated services only: detailing, paint correction and protection, legal cosmetic enhancements, and accessories sold and installed. We are not a dealership and we do not carry out regulated mechanical repair or safety-related work. We are happy to recommend what a licensed shop should look at.
Can I buy accessories without having them installed?
Yes. The shop sells accessories and car-care products over the counter and online. Installation is offered for products that benefit from professional fitting - films, multimedia panels, speakers and amplifiers, sound damping, dash cameras, parking sensors and similar - and it is priced separately so you can choose.
How do the memberships work?
Memberships are monthly plans in four tiers - Basic, Standard, Premium, and Fleet & commercial - covering regular washing, scheduled interior care, seasonal add-ons, detailing credits, priority booking and accessory discounts depending on the tier. Inclusions, visit frequency and the monthly price are confirmed in writing when you enrol, and plans renew monthly.
Do you offer packages for ride-share, delivery or fleet vehicles?
Yes - it is one of the segments the business was designed around. Ride-share and delivery drivers usually take a Standard or Premium membership plus a working-vehicle bundle (dash camera, phone mount, seat covers, mats and an interior detail). Fleets get a contracted volume package with agreed presentation standards and one invoice.
Will detailing and protection actually improve my resale value?
In our founder's experience refurbishing vehicles for resale, presentation is one of the biggest levers on the price a buyer will pay: a clean, odour-free interior, corrected and protected paint, restored headlights and a documented care history. Our resale-preparation package is built precisely around that inspection.
How do I book?
Call (437) 559-2990, or send a booking request from the contact page with the year, make, model and what you need. We reply within one business day with a recommended package, the price and a turnaround. Online booking will be added to this site as the digital booking system goes live.
Still deciding?
A two-minute call is usually enough to tell you which package the car needs and what it will cost.
